This is a method that will eliminate the disproportions in the body and make it look more aesthetic. In other words, overweight people do not apply  liposuction method for slimming purposes.

Men generally have excessive fat tissue around the belly and abdomen, side of the waist and chest, sometimes double chin, under-the-ear and nape of the body disproportionately to the whole body and  liposuction is applied to these parts.

In women, the  liposuction method is appplide to mostly the back and inner parts of the arms, hips, upper and inner parts of the upper legs, the sides of the abdomen and waist, the inner sides of the knees, the inner and outer parts of the knees, the inner and outer parts of the ankle, the double chin and, the lower and anterior region of the ears.

The Operation

Liposuction is performed with general anesthesia or local anesthesia. Local anesthesia is preferred if it is to be performed in single and small parts of the body, and general anesthesia is preferred if it is to be performed in large and large areas. This operation takes at least 1 to 4 hours depending on the amount of oil to be sucked. A special solution is first injected into the fat tissue in the area where the process will be performed. This is because not to have bleeding during surgery and so the procedure will be done easily.

Afterwards, 3-5 mm incisions are made in the area where the process will be applied and a special hose is inserted into the fat tissue. By this hose, the fatty tissues in the treated area are disintegrated by the back and forth movements of 2-5 mm diameter metal cannulas connected to the vacuum device. These cannulas have holes in the end edges and the fatty tissues are thrown from the body through these holes.

Immediately after the end of  liposuction, the patient is dressed with corsets made for the operation. Generally, patients are discharged after 4-5 hours of monitoring. There are some patients who need to be hosted in the clinic for 1-2 days regarding the operation. Due to its elastic structure, post-operative corsets prevent bleeding in the areas where the procedure is performed, prevent accumulation of body fluids, and adhere the skin to the soles and make the skin level appear more uniformed. Corset should be worn for a week after the operation. Then the person can take them off and take a shower and wash the corset. The corset again should take at least 3 weeks more. If this period is extended to 2 months, more positive results will be obtained. There will be some bruises and oedema after the surgery, which will disappear in 6 to 8 weeks.
